Welcome to Ryde Pier Head
Welcome to one of the Isle of Wight's most iconic gateways. Opened in 1814, Ryde Pier is the world's oldest seaside pleasure pier and one of the very few in the world where you can walk, drive and travel by train along the same historic structure. Built to welcome visitors during the great age of seaside tourism, it continues to connect people, places and journeys over 200 years later.
Station Information
Ryde Pier Head does not have a ticket office.
Ticket Vending Machines are located at Ryde Esplanade, Ryde St Johns Road, Sandown and Shanklin stations. Tickets can be purchased from the guard on the train.
A Wightlink ticket office is available at Ryde Pier Head for Wightlink tickets.
